Targeted Teaching Method

This paragraph is the most important of the whole site!  Really!

For many years we have used a teaching method that has two main aspects.   Firstly, it is thematic.  i.e we teach themes (as in telling a story), so it is easy to understand.  Children understand the story telling ways from their early days.  So when teaching Fullness of Life in Christ, we teach that theme, using any part of the Bible to do so.  We don't teach any particular book, or chapter, or topic, but from the whole counsel of the Bible itself.

Secondly, if the whole Bible could be set inside a circle like an archery or dart board target, we teach from the centre of the circle outwards towards the perimeter.  In this way, we ensure that the central issues are covered first, issues such as Salvation, using material similar to Christianity Explained, followed by learning about and to live out the central issue in scripture.

This issue is as Jesus Christ expressed it in John 17:22-23, which was, "And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me."

In other words, we are to live as One with the Father, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit.  Paul's verses in Galatians 2:20 and Colossians 1:27 say the same thing.  We are to live the Mystery, which is Christ in you. (that is IN US - as believers).  Also, Colossians 3:4 where Paul explains that Christ is our Life.  This is so simple, but it would seem rarely taught as it needs to be.  This same theme is in many other parts of Paul's writings

Having done that teaching we then work outward from the centre into all other themes in the Bible. This is quite different to the methods generally used, that tend to teach any area of dartboard target circle, and tending to miss out on the CENTRAL ISSUES mentioned above, thus making it harder to learn everything else, as the basis of the central issues have not been covered.

So, the method of teaching is targeted themes, central to the outcomes written about by Jesus Christ and St Paul the Apostle.

This presents a huge advantage to any person learning about the message of Jesus Christ and the Bible.

Overview

Some Christians may find it hard to believe, but it is possible for a supernatural endowment of believers, of which they can only become aware by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. This is not by intellectual understanding on which many seem to rely, but by true faith and walking in the Spirit of God. This brings into view the true union between God and the believer, so that the truth of Galatians 2:20 becomes a conviction that the life of Jesus Christ really is our life. His life exchanged for our previous life. What a miracle that is, for it enables us to worship Him for Who He is and not place the blessings He can provide above the simple knowing of Him for Himself. There are a number of scriptural concepts that need to be known, concepts which are not always taught in today's church. Although the Spirit of God can teach these directly to the earnest believer, it is likely that some knowledge of these will enable the believer to know the fullness that is possible – and by faith, have the Holy Spirit take the understanding into a KNOWING and experience that is not otherwise possible. This site provides resources to make that understanding, knowing and experience possible. The rest is up to you and the Lord.

Introduction

What believer does not want fullness in Jesus Christ? Scriptures make wonderful promises about the fullness that is available to true believers. The subject has been of special interest to me over several years, as I struggled with my understandings of the Word of God on these issues. The Lord led me into studies on prayer and the believer's authority in Christ. During that time the subject of faith itself had an obvious connection with these things. During that time, Norman Grubb's writings came to my notice and my spirit quickened with the excitement of his words about Romans 6-8. I did not intellectually understand too much but considered God's Spirit within me a better judge of what may be true and continued to read all his books and allowed his explanations to be slowly revealed to me.

Now some years later, there is sufficient obvious truth of basic issues in the rest of his writing that not only makes sense, but excites the spirit in me to a far greater degree than all other explanations of Christian life I have ever read. All Christian writers find their critics, but for me, Grubb's explanations of the Gospel seem to be more true scripturally than any other studied so far. Other enquiries about Grubb's life revealed a number of strong believers in USA, who knew Grubb personally and have lived out the fullness of life provided by Christ, according to what Grubb taught them from scriptures. Personal experience with those people show them to be the sort of believers with whom to be in fellowship. From what I have learned from my studies I have written my own account of this whole subject, direct from scripture and without directly quoting Norman Grubb at all. It is all in scripture. He just happened to open the door for me to begin to see it all – then the Holy Spirit took over and did the rest and continues to do so.

The writings on this page are from more than one source. Some are written by Dan Stone, Linda Bunting and by Norman Grubb himself, who sought and found fullness of life in Christ during their lifetimes. Others are written by Ken Walker, the Webmaster of Good News Australia and Global Good News. There are also links to other major websites constructed by people who really know their Bible and are able to expound the truths it contains. In June 2008 both written studies in PDF format and the same studies in MP3 audio began to be placed online.
